“Everything changes around what remains.”

— HUMBERTO MATURANA

ABOUT

I was born in the south of Brazil, among art, culture and philosophy, raised by a folklorist mom and an engineer dad.

I have always been intensely curious, so fitting into just one thing was never really an option. That includes the corporate world, where I spent more than ten years as an executive (IBM, B2W and KPMG, among others).

Inside companies I noticed a surprising pattern. People and organizations were being pushed to transform, and kept running into the same fact: nobody changes just because they know they should.

Culture and human behavior are inherently unpredictable and complex.

That's when I realized that the parts of my repertoire I had left "outside" of work (design, relationships, language, art, philosophy) were part of what these landscapes of change required.

A folklorist mom, an engineer dad and years in the corporate world: I speak the language of the concrete without losing touch with what is mysterious, sensitive and hidden.

Since then, I have dedicated myself to facilitating these transitions, so that individuals, groups and organizations come out “the other side” more whole, more flexible and more connected.

My work is to help people and organizations stand in the unknown long enough for something new to come through. I consider myself a committed apprentice of everything I deliver.
